Sunday, November 13th will be the time for our annual Fall Tipi Ceremony to pray for our Elders and Honor their walk upon Mother Earth. The winter can be hard on Elders---Elders of all Nations, including the plant and animal nations.
This is a tipi ceremony where we can give our expressions and prayers for the Elders in our community and all nations as winter approaches. Everyone is welcome to attend.
This ceremony is sponsored by Rainbow Eagle and Mary Rainbow Snake Woman; however, they will not be in attendance.
The Ceremony will begin around One on Sunday. If you wish to participate in preparing the Tipi and the space for the Ceremony, please come around 10:00. Women usually collect fall foliage and flowers to decorate the tipi for the community.
Women, please wear skirts, to honor Mother Earth and the Sacred Feminine. Men, please wear long pants to this ceremony. Children of all ages are always welcome in Ceremony.
There is never a charge for Ceremony.
There will be a community feast after the ceremony. Please bring a dish to share.
